Last Minute Halloween Makeup!

Hello again!

As you know, tomorrow is Halloween and people have asked me to do Halloween blogposts but I was stuck with ideas of what to do, so I decided to have a little play around with makeup to see what I could come up with and I have three eye looks for you!

He first is a very dramatic winged eyeliner! This is simple but you could pair it with a dark berry or even black lip and I think it'd look stunning!
I used the Soap & Glory Supercat liner for this.

The second look is a smokey eye, like the first look, it's simple but would look lovely!
You can't see how dark it actually is as the colours don't show up as well on camera as in real life, but it's very dark and to make it more dramatic I made it more winged out and higher towards the brow.
I used the shadows 'coffee cup' (a dark brown) and 'fashionista' (a black with dark red/purple shimmer) from the W7 In The Nude palette, which you all will know about because a lot of bloggers seem to own it because it's an amazing dupe for the Naked 3 palette.

The last look is my favourite.
As you can see its winged eyeliner with spiders web and spider details! I think it is perfect for Halloween, and it's not hard to do with an eyeliner like The Soap & Glory one (used in the first look) as its like a pen so you can just basically doodle on your face and see how it turns out!
The mascara used is Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express, the waterproof formula because I find it holds a curl really well!

If you're wondering what the lights in the back ground are, they are silver heart string lights from Asda, I bought them at the weekend and have fallen in love! You might already know I'm a tiny bit obsessed with fairy lights, I have three sets in my room and I still feel like I need more!

A few other things, I hope you think the photos of the makeup are okay, I usually use a different camera for taking photos of my makeup when it's on because it's a bridge so it's slightly smaller, but I don't have a charger for it (it's in Spain thanks to my brother) so I had to persevere with the slightly harder job of using my other camera, which, on the plus side, has a flip our screen, but is a lot bigger and heavier! I also want to say yes my skin isn't perfect, we aren't all blessed with flawless skin.

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Happy Halloween!

Lots of love,

This Is Your Time.

I'm not going to write the usual introduction explaining what I'm going to do in this blogpost, I'm just going to get straight into it.

People might hurt you, and there are ways you can deal with it. Let it break you down until there's nothing left of you to give. It's very, very easy to do that. When someone destroys what you once had you might feel like there is nothing left any more, they were your world and now your world is crashing in on you. You lost the thing that meant so much to you and you no longer feel complete.

Yes, that person (or those people) may have hurt you but you should not just focus on that. Take what they have done and show that they have hurt you but that doesn't define you, it doesn't make you a weaker person. It makes you stronger.

One day you will find someone or something that is the missing piece to your puzzle, and it won't be the one who hurt you, it might not be the person or the place you feel you want or you expect, but when you find it you will be invincible and you will be so happy and you'll wonder why you felt the way you did, but what does happen will take you to the place you will be happiest in.

Of course, with all good things, it won't be easy, that's not how life works, but I'm telling you, it will be worth every tear, every moment of pain because you will find yourself and you will find what's meant for you and only you.

So don't get down about what's happened. Don't live in the past. Don't think about the 'what ifs' of the situation. Focus on what's happening right now, because what is happening right now is your journey and your life.

You are only given this life, you don't have a second chance. Don't waste it. Take everything life throws at you and show the world and most importantly yourself what you are capable of and then you will truly find happiness within yourself and other people.

This is your time.

Hairstyle for School!

Hello!

I'm sorry for being such a rubbish blogger, I'll try and get better!

This is just a quick hairstyle suggestion for school or just to wear when you feel like it!

It is, of course, a fishtail plait! I've always envied people who could wear fishtails well as my hair is layered and it was never long enough to go into the plait and if it was long enough, I would end up with the short layers not in the plait at all and have half a head of hair loose!

Fishtails are relatively easy to do, you split your hair into two sections, you take a small piece from one of the sections and cross it over to the other side, then you take a piece from the other section and cross it to the other side and you keep alternating between the two sections! You can do it as neat as you want, or go for the slightly looser, more casual look!

As you might be able to see, there's a tangle teaser in the background, I bought it recently and I'm in love! The colours are gorgeous, I went for the pastel pink and purple one. I honestly recommend them to anyone!
My shirt and jumper are both from Select.

I hope you liked this quick post, and once again I apologise for my lack of blogging!

I hope you're all okay, and aren't freezing to death because of the autumn weather!
Speak to you all next time,
Lots of love,
